Starting on February 25, 2015, Rascal Flatts is booked to perform a nine-concert residency at the Joint, in Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
This is significant because the group taking this residency will be the first ever Vegas club residency by a country artist.
While Shania Twain, Garth Brooks and Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have all performed multiple shows in Las Vegas, there have never been any country residencies ever before.
The shows will be called the “Rascal Flatts Vegas Riot!”
In a press statement, bass player Jay DeMarcus promised a unique show that was “up close, intimate and personal.”
Although the residency currently ends on Saturday, March 14th, Rascal Flatts may extend their Las Vegas run if the initial concerts go smoothly.
