It’s nearly that time of year again. St Patrick’s Day, where everyone turns Irish just for one day. It isn’t just the Irish that celebrates St Patrick’s Day in Las Vegas but if you are Irish, it’s the perfect day to wholeheartedly embrace who you are.
Las Vegas is a fantastic place to be to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. Irish whiskey and green beer flow untapped at just about every bar, club and pub while authentic Irish food and entertainment complete the incredible atmosphere.
We all know that Las Vegas doesn’t do anything by halves and St Patrick’s day is no exception; 2020 is looking set to be one of the biggest yet so get ready to join the fun.
Before we look at where you can celebrate St Patrick’s day in style, here are a few things to know:
- You must be 21 or over to drink alcohol in Las Vegas – it’s the law
- Sip as you go. Provided your drink is in a plastic container, St Patrick’s Day is one of the few days where you can drink alcohol on the Strip
- Be aware; pickpockets operate in busy areas, especially around the Bellagio Fountains. They tend to be in groups so keep your wits about you and your money safe. Ladies, hang on tight to your bags.
- Vegas it may be, there are still laws; you can’t just do what you want.
- Do not drive if you have had a drink. The penalties are incredibly high and you will be required to appear in court – it isn’t worth it
- Don’t even think about jaywalking; if you get caught you will be cited and, seriously, your life is worth more than trying to dodge the traffic!
