Are you planning a trip to Vegas for CES 2020? Every January, the Consumer Electronics Show takes place in Vegas, the number one show for anyone whose life revolves around consumer technology.
In 2020 you can expect to see thousands of exhibits, each showcasing the very latest in life-changing technology and innovation. More than 2.6 million square feet of space will be taken over by exhibits covering 24 different categories of product.
Make sure you wear comfortable shoes! There’s a lot of walking here.
And be prepared to be awed at the technology – the latest in smartphones, drones, smart watches, televisions, washing machines, complete home entertainment systems – and thousands of people who all want to see what’s on offer for the future of technology.
Every year CES breaks a new attendance record. In 2018, more than 182,000 people attended the show, with more than 58,000 of those from outside of the USA, representatives of no less than 150 countries. More than 4,400 companies exhibited their products, as well as more than 600 new startups at the Eureka Marketplace.

- Get your badge off-site. Picking your badge up at the airport or one of the chosen hotels before you get to the show will save you significant time.
- Allow plenty of time. Plan your time properly and allow extra time for it all. When you arrive at the venues, keynotes, meetings, and events, expect long lines. And be prepared to wait for rental car check-ins or cabs

- Use the FREE shuttle. CES 2020 provides a free shuttle bus service between a list of official hotels and the Las Vegas Convention Center. Use these when you can to save money and time.
- Use the FREE tram. If you are attending Tech South, you can take the free ARIA Express tram which stops at the Park MGM, at Crystals entertainment district/ARIA, The Cosmopolitan and Bellagio/Vdara Hotel and Spa.
- Plan for traffic delays. Check to see if any other major conventions or games are happening as this will affect traffic.
